EXGEL was developed to be an extremely soft and stable material to reduce the risk of bedsores. Compared to standard urethane foam, the surface underneath can be hardly felt when sitting on EXGEL’s gel material, demonstrating its excellent ability to distribute body pressure. EXGEL is extremely flexible and can stretch up to 20 times its size and still return to its original shape. Its softness, together with its low resilience (slow return to its original shape) and its fluidity, make it gentle on the skin and provide the ideal level of skin contact.
